Our Story
“I love a scent that can make memories alive.”
AwurabaHome was founded 2021 by Mayah in her kitchen. Inspired by her love of candles, fragrances, and new found body positivity- Awuraba was born.
Awuraba translates to lady/woman, and in the beginning, inspired by body positivity, Mayah only made and sold mostly female body shaped pillar candles, but later branched out to make wax melts, jar container candles and concrete homeware too.

At AwurabaHome, we care about providing you with wonderful scents without releasing nasty toxins into your home. That’s why our candles are made with natural wax. No paraffin, no toxins.
This means you get a cleaner burn and a scent that is long lasting.
